Background Information: Cambridgeshire County Council is consulting on issues for a new transport strategy for Cambridge and South Cambridgeshire (known as TSCSC) between 15th June and 28th September 2012. Although the City Council has already been working closely with the County Council and South Cambridgeshire District Council in the identification of issues across the area, this provides an opportunity to make formal comments or representations on the TSCSC. The County Council would like comments from stakeholders to shape the document and to ascertain how aspirational and radical it needs to be, so that it can meet the needs of Cambridge and still be realistic, given the funding scenario.
