Changes To The Officer Employment Procedure Rules In Respect Of Disciplinary Action

To amend the Officer Employment Procedure Rules and the terms of reference of the Employment (Senior Officer) Committee and to authorise the Head of Human Resources to convene a panel of “independent persons”, as and when required.

Background Information: Parliament has approved changes to the Local Authorities (Standing Orders) (England) Regulations 2001. The Regulations set out provisions we are required to have in our Constitution. Amending regulations mean we have to make changes to the Officer Employment Procedure Rules in the Constitution.
