David is a 68 year old engineer and has lived in
Trumpington for 31 years.
In liking Trumpington so much he and his family are
on their third house with two moves for more family space and the third to
start a small business
His wife Jane is a Healthcare Assistant working in
the local Medical Centre
They have 3 children. Their eldest son is a teacher, middle
daughter is a civil servant and youngest daughter is a nurse at Addenbrooke's
Hospital
They started a small business, originally in the
house but later moved to Shelford. The
business was involved with the design, manufacture and distribution of
electronic control systems mostly involving high-speed barcode readers.
David is a keen rower and is often found on the
river Cam or coaching on the towpath.
David has
been an active volunteer since 2020 at the Trumpington Food Hub which operates
on Friday afternoons at the Trumpington Pavilion.
