Background Information: The City Council is currently reviewing the Local Plan. Consultation on the Issues and Options 2 (Site Options consultation) took place between 7th January to 18th February 2013. The report will outline the key issues raised in this consultation, and officer analysis and recommendations in relation to sites that could be allocated within the urban area (excluding Green Belt sites, which will be brought to this committee in May). Consideration will also be given to the preferred approach and draft policies to be taken forward in relation to Opportunity Areas, existing Fringe Sites and other strategic issues.
