Background Information: The loss of public houses over the past 18 months has become a local planning issue in Cambridge.The draft Interim Planning Policy Guidance on the Protection of Public Houses in Cambridge was open to public consultation from 15th June 2012 for a period of 6 weeks.This guidance is intended to provide the criteria that should be considered to help determine planning applications relating to a change of use or redevelopment of a public house.
