Approval is required for the City Council to submit a bid on a new Healthy Behaviours contract being tendered by the Public Health team at Cambridgeshire County Council.  The deadline for submissions is midday Monday 23^rd June.  The new contract transitions from the current County-wide model to a place-based delivery model. This approach merges Tier 1 (prevention and lifestyle) and Tier 2 (structured interventions) services and includes services like smoking cessation, alcohol reduction, weight management, NHS health checks, nutrition, physical activity, falls prevention, and community outreach.
