Background Information: The Council secures S106 funding to help mitigate the impacts of growth and development in and around Cambridge. These monies are used to enhance infrastructure managed by the Council across a number of contribution types; including open spaces. Funds need to be allocated, and used, within time limits stipulated within the various S106 agreements, or developers could ask for them to be returned.
