Background Information: The Council has a legal obligation to publish equality objectives at least every four years as part of the Public Sector Equality Duty. The Council previously published a revised Single Equality Scheme for April 2021 to 31 March 2024, which set out the Council’s objectives and priorities. This report provides an update on delivery of equalities actions agreed for the first year of the scheme (2021/22) and recommends new actions for delivery during the second year of the scheme (2022/23).
