Background Information: The Council produced a revised Anti-Poverty Strategy for April 2020 to March 2023. The report will provide an update on progress on delivering actions identified in the strategy during 2021/22. It is recommended that the end date for the strategy should be extended to 31 March 2024, which would allow the Council to focus capacity on responding to immediate issues such as the rising cost of living. It would also allow the strategy to be developed in the context of the Council's transformation programme and up to date data and information from the 2021 Census and other sources.
