Background Information: The new Single Equality Scheme will set out equality objectives on how the Council will meet its Public Sector Equality Duty (Section 149 of the Equality Act 2010), including tackling discrimination, harassment and victimisation (and any other conduct prohibited by the Equality Act), promoting equality of opportunity, and promoting good relations between communities.
