Background Information: 1. This document identifies and describes the policies that underpin the approach to the provision of Cambridge City Council’s (CCC) social housing. As a Registered Provider (RP) of social housing, Cambridge City Council (CCC) is required to publish clear and accessible policies which outline its approach to tenancy management. These policies must have regard to the requirements set out in the CCC Tenancy Strategy (2020). 2.This policy sets out Cambridge City Council’s (CCC) position on working with tenants who exhibit hoarding behaviours. CCC is a signatory of the ‘Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Multi-Agency Protocol for Working with People with Hoarding Behaviours’ (2016) (‘the Protocol’) and the policy sets out how CCC is committed to upholding the approaches set out in the Protocol. 3.This is a revision of the Rechargeable Works Policy (2018).
