Background Information: In January 2019 the committee approved the publication of the draft document for public consultation. The consultation has now concluded and we received 10 representations. These representations have been considered by officers and have informed the preparation of the final document. In order for the council (as a local planning authority) to give weight to the SCI, it requires the council to adopt it which we are seeking at the committee in June. It is also worth noting that this is the first joint SCI as part of the Greater Cambridge Shared Planning service and will therefore be going through a similar adoption process with members at South Cambridgeshire District Council.
