Background Information: This is a spaces and movement strategy for Cambridge. The Making Space for People SPD has been produced in partnership with the Greater Cambridge Partnership and County Council Highways, in their role as the Highways Authority for the area. It provides further guidance to support the implementation of Policy 10 of the Cambridge Local Plan (2018) as well as the policies relating to Opportunity Areas adjacent to the city centre. The committee report seeks approval for the draft SPD to be made available for a six week period of public consultation, which will be carried out in accordance with the Council’s Statement of Community Involvement
