Background Information: The report will provide an update on progress during 2017/18 on the Climate Change Strategy, including progress in delivering the Council's Carbon Management Plan, along with wider objectives and actions to reduce carbon emissions by residents and businesses and to manage climate change risks. The updated Environmental Policy Statement will also be included, along with additional actions to address Objective 5 of the strategy, to respond to the risks identified by the Adaptation Sub-Committee‘s UK Climate Change Risk Assessment Evidence Report.
