Background Information: The report will propose amendments to the current process for allocating City Council funding to Council services and external bodies (including voluntary & community sector bodies) to deliver outcomes that contribute to the City Council’s Anti-Poverty Strategy. It will also propose a wider review of all City Council external grants processes is carried out, with a view to improving the consistency, transparency, accountability and efficiency of the council’s funding arrangements overall and to enhance compliance with emerging procurement best practice.
