Background Information: A new appointment of external auditor for the 2018/19 accounts must be made and confirmed by 31 December 2017. Following closure of the Audit Commission, the council needs to adopt an appointing person arrangement. The report recommends to Council the approval of Public Sector Audit Appointments Limited as the appointing person.
