Background Information: The current policy has been in place since October 2011 and is due for review. At Licensing Committee on 18 July 2016 Members agreed that a public consultation could be undertaken on a draft policy and handbook. Taking account of the feedback from the trade and other stakeholders Members will be asked to adopt the revised Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Licensing Policy.
