Background Information: The current Draft Air Quality Action Plan (2015) has sanctioned development of plans to shift Taxis in Cambridge to lower emission vehicles. A bid to the office for Low Emission Vehicles is in preparation to help provide infrastructure and subsidy to start this change. Further policy and fiscal support within from the Council is needed to both support this bid and help effect the change over the next 5-10 years.
