Background Information: (a) Consideration of a number of strategic proposals for sports facilities was deferred last October until these could be put in the context of audits of indoor sports facilities and playing pitches. These included proposals for outdoor sports facilities at Long Road Sixth Form Centre; St Mary's School and the University of Cambridge sports ground and indoor sports facilities at Kelsey Kerridge sports centre, Netherhall School & Sixth Form and the Stephen Perse Foundation. (b) Last October, the Committee was promised a further update in June 2016 on a number of projects which were allocated funding in previous S106 priority-setting rounds and which are still under development (including Cambridge Rugby Club changing facilities, King's College School changing facilities, a pavilion on Jesus Green and community facilities at East Barnwell Community Centre and Milton Road library).
