Background Information: The Services Scrutiny Committee last considered the Cherry Hinton Hall grounds improvements in January 2012, when the (then) Executive Councillor allocated £400k of S106 contributions to an outline phase 2 of the project. This latest report will provide more details so that the project can be implemented from 2016/17 using the allocated S106 funding. The S106 report to the Scrutiny Committee last October highlighted that there would be a follow-up report on public realm projects in early 2016, not least on proposals for improvements on Cherry Hinton Road.
