Background Information: The University of Cambridge is planning significant changes to the New Museum's site in the coming years, including the development of a new student services centre, the demolition of un-listed departmental buildings, the creation of new public spaces and the construction of new teaching, research and administrative spaces. The Development Framework will provide an important planning tool for the university and the council in guiding the detailed planning and development of the site in the coming years.
