Background Information: We are required to update our 2009 Air Quality Action Plan. Actions undertaken up to 2015, whilst improving air quality, have not delivered national objectives. There is a need to take a new approach over the medium term, facilitating a change to low and ultra-low emission vehicles in order to meet those objectives.
