Background Information: The Highways Agency is carrying out a public consultation between Monday 9 September and Sunday 13 October 2013 on its proposals for improvements to the A14 between Huntingdon and Cambridge, including tolling of a new Huntingdon southern bypass to run between Swavesey and Ellington. The consultation is being carried out in advance of the Highways Agency announcing a preferred route in late 2013, undertaking further consultation in early 2014 and submitting an application for the works as a Development Consent Order to the Planning Inspectorate in 2014.
