7th june 2017

Decision Type:

Key Decision

Matter for Decision:

The Executive Councillor for Housing was asked to agree the tender as detailed in the confidential report

Why the decision had to be made (and any alternative options):

Cambridge City Council has carried out a procurement process to appoint a contractor to carry out the heating and hot water refurbishment works at the School Court Sheltered Housing property. The contract award date is estimated as early June 2017. The contract allows for an implementation period between the contract award and the starting date. The planned contract starting date is the 10th July 2017.

A delay result in a risk that the work is not completed before the colder months of the year.

Agreed that award the contract as detailed in confidential report.

NOT FOR PUBLICATION: The report relates to an item during which the public is likely to be excluded from the meeting by virtue of paragraph 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972.
