Minutes: The Committee received a report from the Senior Technical Officer
to consider the first renewal of the Private Hire Operator Licence held by Andrew
Barnard in line with Cambridge City Council’s taxi licensing policy. Member Questions Members asked if Mr Barnard intended to add more vehicles to his
Operator Licence. Mr Barnard confirmed he did not intend to add more vehicles
at present, but if so, he would check to ensure any new vehicles/drivers would
have appropriate plates/licences. Members withdrew at 10:40 am and returned at 11:10
am. Decision The Sub Committee resolved to renew the Operator’s Licence for one year. Reasons for
reaching the decision were as follows: · Mr Barnard has been
granted a private hire Operators License since 14th January 2019,
and has complied with all policy requirements. · Mr Barnard has had no
complaints as an operator nor as a driver. · Mr Barnard has been a
Private hire and Dual Hackney Carriage licensed driver since 2004 and has had
no complaints. |
