Member Questions Members asked if operator licences could be renewed for 1 or 5 years. The Senior Technical Officer said the process required Operators to apply to renew their licence after 1 year. From the second renewal year onwards applications could be considered by Officers (as opposed to being required to be considered by Councilors), and Applicants could request 1-5 year licences as they wished. Summing Up Neither Mr Gent or the Senior Technical Officer had any comments to suppliment details in the Officer’s report. Members withdrew at 10:40 am and returned at 11:10 am. Decision The Sub Committee resolved to renew the Operator’s Licence for one year. Reasons for reaching the decision were as follows: Mr Gent met all of the requirements of an operator.
