The Committee received an application for
listed building consent.
The application
sought approval for the demolition of rear two storey extension to Kenmare
House, dwarf wall of Kenmare House fronting Trumpington Street, narthex, foyer
spaces, lobby, two storey school rooms and north gable end of Emmanuel United
Reformed Church; and alterations to 1 Mill Lane, Kenmare House, and Emmanuel
United Reformed Church, in connection with expansion of Pembroke College.
The Committee received representations in objection to the application
from a representative of Camcycle and a resident of St Mary’s Lane under
application 18/1930/FUL.
Lord Smith had already addressed the Committee in support of the
application under application 18/1930/FUL.
Ward County
Councillor Harris (Market Ward) had already addressed the Committee under application
18/1930/FUL.
The Committee:
Unanimously resolved to grant the application for listed building
consent accordance with the officer recommendation, for the reasons set out in
the officer report, and subject to the conditions recommended by the officers.
