The committee received an application for full planning permission.
The application sought permission for change of use from a 8 bed Guest House to
HMO for 7 occupiers.
Resolved (8 votes to 0 with 1 abstention) to grant the application
for planning permission in accordance with the officer recommendation, for the
reasons set out in the officer report, and subject to the conditions
recommended by the officer and the following additional Condition:
The building shall not be occupied as an HMO until a management
plan for this use has been
submitted to, and approved in writing by, the local planning authority.
Reason: To protect the
residential amenity of nearby occupiers. (Cambridge Local Plan 2006 policy 3/4)
