Approve the Cambridge Local Development Scheme 2014 to reflect the production of an area action plan for Cambridge Northern Fringe East.
Matter for
Decision
Cambridge City Council is required to maintain a Local Development
Scheme (LDS). An LDS sets out a timetable for the production of new or revised
Development Plan Documents (such as a Local Plan or Area Action Plan).
Following the recommendation of the Joint Strategic Transport and
Spatial Planning Group on 6 February 2014 to commence the preparation of an
Area Action Plan for the Cambridge Northern Fringe East area and amend the LDS,
it is necessary for the Council update the LDS with the latest timetable and
publish it on the Council website.

Approved the Cambridge Local Development Scheme 2014 and agree to it
being brought into effect on 26 March 2014.
