To consider a draft Pay Policy Statement for 2014/15.
The
committee received a report from the Head of Human Resources regarding the Pay
Policy Statement for 2014/15.
Resolved (by 3 votes to 0):
i.
That only full
Council may authorise salary or severance packages of £100,000 or more,
following consideration by the Employment (Senior Officer) Committee.
ii.
That the Terms of
Reference of the Employment (Senior Officer) Committee be amended by the
addition of:
“To make recommendations to Council
with regard to proposals for salary or severance packages of £100,000 or more.”
iii.
To note the
recommendations of the Strategy and Resources Scrutiny Committee in relation to
review of the Living Wage Policy for agency workers.
iv. To recommend to Council the draft Pay Policy Statement 2014/15.
